Clay your troubles away at Kunstfort bij Vijfhuizen

Communal healing with HARD-CORE 13th june 2019 Kunstfort bij Vijfhuizen This is an RSVP-only event. Please get in touch if you would like to be part of this via: ceo@the-hard-core.eu Under the guidance of Skyler Lindenberg, HARD-CORE would like to invite you for a day of communal healing. For this event we will use clay for manifesting energies and emotions that are subconsciously toxifying our everyday encounters and sense of empathy. Through several sculpting sessions, we will explore some of the fears and anxieties that are dwelling within us and release them into communal sculptures, in the hope for a unified and all-welcoming sense of co-existing. Our differences are the foundation for our ability to belong. Throughout this session we’ll explore this commonality with the aim of forming a multiperspective; a communal mental state where the participants have a collective understanding rather than a fragmented and opposing one. Within multiperspective,

Under Pressure: an evening with Skyler Lindenberg

Fri, Nov 23, 19:00 Frei_raum Q21 exhibition space Admission free CEO Skyler Lindenberg will give a keynote presentation on the curatorial robot ASAHI 4.0 developed by tech startup HARD-CORE. ASAHI means ‘Morning Sunlight’ in Japanese, and truly, during this time of the year, the light is especially beautiful with its long dramatic shadows. HARD-CORE has dedicated a part of its life to developing algorithmic curation structures, focusing on xeno-solidarity, group bonding and collective togetherness. Following Skyler Lindenberg’s presentation the floor will be open for interactions and the public will be given a chance to have a collective grooming session via a ‘meet and greet’ ceremony.   More Info HARD-CORE is kindly supported by The European Pavilion, the European Cultural Foundation and Q21 Artists-in-Residence in October and November 2018. As part of the exhibition “Under Pressure” curated by Sabine Winkler at frei_raum Q21 exhibition space / MQ – MuseumsQuartier Wien.

Be like me

Skyler’s intuition already knew that joining HARD-CORE was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work for the creative genius, and to be on the executive team that could establish a great company. From the start of HARD-CORE’s tenure, Skyler set colossally high expectations. Such path however needed the strongest desire to develop. Greatness comes with enormous responsibilities and challenging bumps on the tarmac. These difficult situations can provide vital experience for your development, and even failures can provide valuable lessons that enhance success in the long run. Often, however, such a high-profile failure can tarnish the high spirited among us. Be kind to oneself, but as well an empowering force to others. In a tremendous generous effort to motivate a planet, Skyler desires to open up and spread real motivation onto our entire blue marble. The real reason is that, in Skyler’s mind, there’s nothing more important than helping outsiders gain

Kindly supported by you

Cosmos Carl launches HARD-CORE’s Patronage Programme With HARD-CORE’s new patronage programme, you can become an official patron of the startup. There are multiple levels of patronships depending on how much you are able to support. We have range of nifty limited-edition pieces that you can receive as a patron. For example an elegant rosesilver HARD-CORE badge that can be worn on any occasion. Those who feel that they would like to generously support HARD-CORE will receive a unique silicon skin designed to cover and protect the delicate sensory technology of ASAHI 4.0. The skins are produced as part of Silicon Dreams, HARD-CORE’s investigation into sexist tendencies within tech-aesthetics, where automatons are often sexualized and depicted as female servants in a male dominated tech-industry. Silicon Dreams explores the aestheticization of automation and pursues a potential de-gendering of robotics. You can also support HARD-CORE with smaller amounts and you’ll become an official

Lounge Conversation - Technology's Promise to Authenticate

Impakt Festival 2016

HARD-CORE will participate in a lounge conversation during IMPAKT Festival 2016. 30 October, 2016 14.30 – 16.30 Theater Kikker, Utrecht Together with: Luke Dormehl Masha McConaghy Sebastian Schmieg Jonas Lund moderated by Jazmina Figueroa Creativity can be outsourced and automated. One person’s data is another person’s intellectual property. How do networked distribution, generated content and open sourcing affect artistic processes? As an attempt to define authenticity on this basis, we will draw connections from authenticity to solution-based technologies and where these intersect with art/cultural practices.

The artist group Atlas Economy (*2014, Frankfurt) developed a working structure in which symbiosis and parasitic relations seem to meet. For MÉLANGE, AE created a scenario that blurs the lines of ownership and artistic autonomy. Against the backdrop of enforced professionalisation in self-marketing strategies throughout all artist generations, AE appears as an artist run enterprise, constantly seeking to expand its brand. The product is the name and the network remains unknown to outsiders. Anyone working with AE has to conceal his/her identity

Asahi 4.0 Launch, 30th of September

On Wednesday the 30th of September the launch of ASAHI 4.0 will take place at Art Guard in London. You are invited to join us for ASAHI 4.0 product presentation given by our CEO, Skyler Lindenberg. click here for the Facebook event ... No other places than those where we work have been subject to such rigorous changes over the last centuries; from steam engine (1.0) to electrical energy (2.0) to IT (3.0) to Cyber Physical Systems (4.0). Industry 4.0 is currently being developed focusing on the production and incorporation of Autonomous Machines and Virtual Environments within the cycle of industrial production, ultimately leading to a Smart Factory. Key design concepts of Industry 4.0 are Interoperability, Virtualization, Decentralization, Real-Time Capability, Service Orientation and Modularity. Confronted with this skeleton construct of the future we, at HARD-CORE, could only think of how these concepts are already applied within our ways of working.

Strictly Digital at Alternativa, Gdansk

1st to 30th of August 2015 Alternativa 2015 / Wyspa Institute of Art HARD-CORE is pleased to announce its next project as part of Alternativa 2015. Recent works such as Morning Sunlight, Close Your Eyes and The Universal Blob will be included as well as new productions developed for this exhibition. Industry 4.0, 4K, 4G, higher resolutions, faster data-transfers, smarter industries, our world is moving quicker and getting increasingly complex. If Art often tended to reflect these radical changes in our post-industrial landscape, current transformations have been slow to manifest within the artistic field. Art adapted the existence of internet, but, did however force the rigidity of a white-cubed space upon the ‘borderless’ capacities praised in the early days of the net. AFK (Away From Keyboard) based notions have been applied to digital spaces helping the user to navigate and making the otherwise abstract binary environment familiar. HARD-CORE’s interest lies
